Sara is an excellent Spanish tutor to my 15 year old daughter. I can’t recommend her enough! She is extremely professional, organised and punctual.

I have been learning Spanish with Sara for over 1 year now, and I cannot recommend her enough! She is an incredibly passionate, patient and enthusiastic teacher. She is always keen to support and help her students, both in and out of the lessons. I particularly like the format of the classes which involves written and audio exercises, with plenty of aural time – all taught in a fun and friendly manner. The lessons are structured at a good pace with ample time to revise grammar and vocabulary. Every week, I look forward to my lessons with Sara and will definitely continue on this journey. 

My wife is Colombian, so it was imperative that I learn Spanish if only to understand my children and in-laws. I am also a busy hospital doctor who finds it hard to make it to Spanish lessons.

Of all the Spanish teachers I have had, Sara is the best by far. I previously had group lessons which were ok at the beginning, but, as I got more advanced, these did not cater to my rate of learning. When Sara offered 1 to 1 private tuition online, I jumped at the prospect. No longer would I have to make costly and time-consuming journeys into London and instead I could have individual teaching in the comfort of my home at time that was convenient. I had had Sara as teacher before, so I knew how good she was. I have been with for more than 2 years and my progress is steadily improving - my family can attest to that! She goes at your pace and helps with your problems in subjects that you find interesting. The lessons are fun, engaging and encourage you to keep on wanting to learn. It is such a regular part of my timetable, that Spanish lessons with her are something I look forward to every week.

I’ve now been learning Spanish with [Sara/Spanish on Earth] for two years. My partner and Spanish neighbours and friends are witnesses to how my Spanish has progressed from just a few tourist basics (just about being able to order a beer and a bocadillo) to being able to make a sensible meaningful conversation with them and their relatives in that time. I can now get by in Spanish shops like ironmongers and stationers, and make myself understood quite easily.

Sara’s classes are always enjoyable and lively, whether in person or lately by Zoom due to the pandemic. She makes the classes a good combination of grammar and conversation to practice and reinforce the grammar points we have just learned, and we go back and revise earlier skills periodically to make sure we haven’t forgotten some of the trickier points like verb endings or more complex sentence constructions. Sara also gives a great insight into Spanish history, culture and lifestyle, explaining these as we work through the course. Her training materials, written and audio, are very well structured and give us plenty of chance to practice what we have learned both in class time and in weekly homework exercises. Thoroughly recommended!

I’ve started my way into Spanish with Sara from level zero all the way into C1. I’m enormously grateful to her for the knowledge received during the time studying. It all started as a hobby, but the classes were so interesting and engaging that it became part of my lifestyle. I’ve started watching movies and YouTube videos (especially for my football team news 😄 Hala Madrid).

Sara has been a game changer for our daughter Kaitlin.

Kaitlin is in year 10 and Modern Foreign Languages are a compulsory option for GCSE at her school.

Kaitlin has visual stress and slower processing. This doesn’t affect her intelligence but does alter the way in which and how she learns. Taking on a language when English already poses problems due to these difficulties caused Kaitlin great anxiety.

And then came Sara!

Sara is Spanish herself and has taught young people of all ages, adapting her teaching style to the unique needs of every student. Kaitlin has lessons tailor-made to her needs that cover all the syllabus requirements. Sara also introduces her culture to the lessons bringing the language to life.

Kaitlin has gone from being an anxious and reluctant student to a confident and keen learner who is excelling in her school classes.

Having Sara work with Kaitlin on a one to one basis is the best decision we made.

Taking lessons in London with Sara I immediately enjoyed her approach to Spanish - she created a happy and collegiate environment in which all students were comfortable expressing themselves. 

After two years of great progress under Sara, I moved into a smaller more advanced class with her, and saw first hand her ability to tailor the lessons to the different needs of this smaller group. Sara was always equal to our questions, even when these were deeply technical, and could help us make sense of the more counter-intuitive aspects of the language.

Most of all, Sara is passionate about the Spanish language and this comes through in her teaching - lessons are never dull and often lit up by her enthusiasm. I would recommend Sara to anyone who wants to learn Spanish, from entry level all the way to the most advanced C1/C2 proficiency courses.

Sara is a superb teacher, my fluency and grammar knowledge improved a lot during my time working with her. Her skill was in making that feel fun and accessible, weaving in lots of relevant topics and vocabulary and above all keeping the classes fresh and varied.
