Our years of experience, specially teaching and preparing children for GCSE's and A Level's, have given our teachers a good inside of the struggles that young students encounter when starting a foreign language for the first time when they begin the secondary school: lack of confidence and fear to learn something they are not familiar with.
It is well known the importance and benefits of learning a second language, not just to improve memory and brain functions, but also as part of the academic curriculum and professional career and to be able to learn about other cultures around the globe.
The same element that makes Spanish such a culturally rich language – the fact that it is spoken in so many countries: more than 400 million people – is also the key to its potential in the world of business, thus Spanish has increasingly become very popular in the past years and it's now part of the curriculum of most secondary schools in the UK.
For all the reasons mentioned above, we now work together with some primary schools to offer Spanish tuition to their pupils as part of the school's extracurricular activities. We strongly believe that being part of our Spanish Club gives the junior pupils the opportunity to become familiar with the language at a young age and this will help them to be prepared and confident when moving to secondary school.
